A 5k Run/Walk for Healthier Moms & Babies
CCI Health & Wellness Services is your local community health center with 7 primary care and dental sites and 5 WIC locations in Maryland’s Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. Every day, we strive to create a more equitable health care experience for all, including communities made vulnerable by social, economic, and cultural barriers. CCI Health & Wellness Services provides care to more than 60,000 community members each year through comprehensive services, including primary care, dental, behavioral health, prenatal care, and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
In Prince George’s County, 2 in 5 women receive inadequate prenatal care. More than 10% of women receive late or no prenatal care and nearly 11% of babies are born pre-term. CCI Health & Wellness Services is working to change that, and your support can help us continue to make sure every mother has a health pregnancy, and every baby has a healthy start.
BECOME A SPONSOR Sponsoring the Run Baby Run 5k will help support the mission of CCI Health & Wellness Services, specifically to raise funds to be able to provide affordable prenatal care to those in our community who need it the most. Your organization should become a sponsor to help...
RAISE AWARENESS Your sponsorship will help sustain our mission, highlighting the lack of affordable, high quality, prenatal care services in our region. This event, held in the DC/Metro area, will bring in those both familiar and unfamiliar with the lack of access to care for under and uninsured women, and educate them on how they can help.
SUPPORT THE CAUSE Sponsoring this event will help us continue to provide affordable prenatal care services. Unlike traditional donations, sponsorship is a way to give back and have your company known as an organization who cares about and is involved in this cause. The money raised will go directly to providing prenatal care for uninsured women.
INCREASE BRAND RECOGNITION Expose your company’s brand, products, and/or capabilities to individuals and communities that participate in the Run Baby Run 5k – that you may not have had access to before. Show off your company’s philanthropic side and meet patients who have benefited from these services, and community members who are conscious of the importance of maternal and child health in our region, and who want to support businesses with like-minded ideas and supportive efforts.
SUPPORT COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT We serve a mission that is bigger than ourselves, and we recognize that we cannot do this work alone.
